In this free webinar, Euan Bonner (Kanda University of International Studies) shares his innovations working with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR).
He talks about his work developing at AI powered chatbot that can be customized to the learner's preferences, as well as his development of VR and AR experiences for language learners.
Euan Bonner is an English as a foreign-language university lecturer and researcher for the Language, Media & Learning Research Centre (LMLRC) at Kanda University of International Studies in Chiba, Japan. His primary fields of expertise are in virtual reality, augmented reality and in artificial intelligence usage in language learning contexts. He also programs and develops his own VR, AR and AI applications for use in research projects.
Paul Raine is the founder and developer of ZenGengo, an online platform for teaching and learning languages which features ten assignment types for practicing reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. He is also an English teacher at universities in Japan.
